Adelaide’s Moonlight Cinema is located at Botanic Park (adjacent to Adelaide Botanic Garden), Hackney Road Adelaide.
By public transport: Take a train to North Terrace Station in the city. Take the 99cx City Loop service bus (which leaves from the front of the station), or any of the 280, 281 or 282 bus routes to Botanic Park.
By car: Refer to the Adelaide Gregory’s guide Map 2, Ref K14. Enter the cinema via Plane Tree Drive. There is parking available on Plane Tree Drive and Hackney Road .
Brisbane's Moonlight Cinema is located at New Farm Park, Brisbane Powerhouse.
By public transport: The New Farm Park CityCat and four bus services (195, 196, 197 & 199) stop nearby. Call Transinfo on 131 230.
By car: There is limited free parking onsite (access via Lamington St, a continuation of James St) or alternatively you can park in New Farm Park (access via Brunswick St).
Melbourne's Moonlight Cinema is located in the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne, on Birdwood Avenue (near the intersection of Domain Road), South Yarra. Enter the cinema via Gate D and follow the path to the Central Lawn.
By public transport: If you’re coming from outside the city take a train to Flinders Street Station. From here you can get on the number 8 tram and get off at the corner of Park Street and Domain Road. Walk left into Birdwood Avenue then follow the signs. Call VicTrip on 131 638 for transport information.
By car: Refer to Melways Map 2G Ref A12 for the venue location. There is limited off street parking around the venue.
Perth's Moonlight Cinema is located at May Drive Parklands in Kings Park and Botanic Garden. Enter from May Drive.
By public transport: Make your way to the city, look for the No. 103 Bus stand on St Georges Tce before Elder St and carry on through until the stop on Thomas St after Saw Ave. Then it’s around five hundred metres on foot down Saw Ave then right into May Drive. You’ll see the May Drive Parkland on the left, follow your feet toward the flickering screen across the lake.
By car: Come down Thomas Street, take the Saw Ave entry (end of Rokeby Road lights) then right in to May Drive. If you’re coming from the southern end come up Stirling Hwy, left into Winthrop Ave then first right into Poole Drive and follow that around to the left until you get to May Drive. There are two car parks with limited capacity but plenty of parking off May Drive. You’ll see the May Drive Parkland on the left, follow your feet toward the flickering screen across the lake.
Moonlight recommends you bring a torch to assist you in making your way to and from the venue.
Port Douglas' Moonlight Cinema is located at QT Port Douglas, 87-109 Port Douglas Road Port Douglas. From Cairns International and Domestic Airport, drive north along the Captain Cook Highway. Take a right into Port Douglas Road then the resort is on your left. Rydges Sabaya Resort is approximately 50 minutes drive.
Moonlight Cinema is a 5-minute drive from Port Douglas’ main street, Macrossan Street. Head south-east on Macrossan Street towards Owen Street. Turn right onto Davidson Street and continue onto Port Douglas Road. Go through 1 roundabout, QT Port Douglas will be on your right.
Sun Palm Transport connects Cairns with Port Douglas picking up and setting down at all accommodation houses, hotels, air, bus, train and shipping terminals.
Sydney’s Moonlight Cinema is located at Belvedere Amphitheatre, Centennial Park (on the corner of Carrington Dr and Broome Ave) Paddington. The nearest gates to the cinema are the Woollahra Gates on Oxford Street.
By public transport: Many buses from CBD, Central Station and the Eastern Suburbs stop near the Park. Bondi Junction train station is a 20 minute walk away.
By car: Cars can enter and exit the Park via Woollahra and Paddington Gates. Limited free parking is available. Please follow directional signs. Mobility parking is available inside Woollahra Gates on Carrington Dr (before intersection of Broome Ave).
The grassy area off Oxford Street, near Woollahra Gates is now a shared pathway and parking is no longer available in this area.
Please note: some gates to Centennial Park may close at sunset.
