Is tonight's session cancelled?
Posted by Moonlight Cinema on 24 January 2017 11:09 PM

We thank you for your patience and understanding on inclement days, and can assure you that our Venue Manager is monitoring the weather conditions on the ground. The Venue Manager is the only person who can make the decision to cancel, as they are experiencing the live conditions on site. Due to the unpredictable nature of the weather, a decision to cancel is most likely to be made in the late afternoon/early evening.

In the rare event that a session is cancelled, ticket holders will receive an SMS and an EMAIL, we will update the movie listing on our WEBSITE and we will post a notification on FACEBOOK. In addition, SIGNAGE will be erected on site. You will then be able to use your Moonlight Cinema tickets to re-book for another session.

Moonlight Cinema is an outdoor event and is occasionally subject to adverse weather. We strongly recommend customers bring wet weather gear to screenings in case of light/intermittent/potential rain. Patrons accept the risk that weather they consider unsatisfactory may occur on a screening night and acknowledge that tickets will not be re-validated unless a screening is officially cancelled by Moonlight Cinema. Please assume the session is going ahead, unless your receive the official notification. If you decide not to attend without receiving notice, your tickets will be forfeited.

Please bear in mind that conditions on site may differ to what you are experiencing at home.

--------------

You will be the first person to hear in the event of a cancellation, Moonlight Head Office does not receive any advanced notification so will not be able to respond to requests for information. They are not involved in the decision to cancel a screening, and cannot urgently respond to emails and social media enquiries on the weekend or after hours.
